Takeaways in Aldeburgh

Aldeburgh Fish and Chip Shop
226 High Street,
Tel : 01728 454 685

This is the famous Fish and Chip Shop in Aldeburgh alongside the White Hart Pub at the end of the High Street and there are genuine reasons why there are frequently long queues outside! Don't let the queue discourage you, even if it is out the door, round the corner and down the road the shop is geared up to serve great Fish and Chips - Fast!

PS: A quaint little road leads down the side of the Aldeburgh Chip Shop to an alley and the seafront where you can sit on the seawall and eat your fish and chips under the watchful gaze of the local gulls. Be warned they are big, voracious buggers and if you show any hint of sharing your meal with them they will dive bomb you! So don't feed them and do dispose of any leftovers in the bins provided!

PPS: The White Hart historically welcomed people to go into the pub and eat your Fish and Chips in the dry! You do have to buy drinks, but it's an Adnams Pub so what's the problem!

PPPS: Don't blame me if the White Hart changes this offer.
